Entry Level Claims Analyst, Medicaid

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Daily setup and processing of new accounts

• Utilize company systems and technologies to input content information and verify received data

• Engage in communication with patients, attorneys, and insurance carriers

• Build and sustain positive working relationships with both internal and external partners

• Execute quality work with integrity and make ethical decisions

• Solve problems in a dynamic, high-volume work environment

• Collaborate in a team setting while managing complex claims

• Uphold accountability, confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and professionalism when dealing with medical and financial information

• Support compliance initiatives by following relevant policies and procedures

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

• Positive and energetic personality

• Capability to problem-solve and think quickly

• Proficient computer skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a high-production environment

• Punctuality and a robust work ethic

• Preferred: Prior experience in medical billing, patient access, or healthcare front office

• Compliance with HIPAA, GLBA, FCRA, and other relevant laws is mandatory

• Familiarity with the Code of Ethics is required

• Attendance in required training sessions is necessary

• Management must be notified of any compliance concerns or incidents

• Patient information must be handled in a manner that complies with HIPAA standards

• Remote colleagues based in the US are prohibited from working outside the United States without prior written consent
