Claims Associate – Roofing, Property Claims

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia.

📋 Description

• Receive and allocate new inspection tasks.

• Assist in claim intake and input assignments into the dispatch system.

• Schedule inspections with policyholders.

• Collaborate with field inspectors, vendors, and internal teams.

• Maintain precise claim notes and documentation.

• Communicate with adjusters, inspectors, and other stakeholders to address issues that could delay claim dispatch or completion.

• Ensure claims are processed accurately and efficiently while adhering to service level expectations.

• Deliver professional and empathetic customer service to policyholders and business partners.

• Aid in the daily handling of residential and commercial property claims.

• Manage approximately 10–15 claims per hour during CAT events.

• Work varying shifts during active CAT events, potentially from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM local time, seven days a week.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in insurance, roofing, construction, estimating, claims, dispatching, or a customer-facing service position.

• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

• Detail-oriented with the capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

• Comfortable using various software systems concurrently.

• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams).

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Familiarity with property insurance claim workflows is preferred.

• Basic understanding of residential roofing and construction terminology is preferred.

• Ability to interpret repair estimates is preferred.

• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills are preferred.

• Customer-oriented with a professional and empathetic communication style is preferred.

• Capacity to adapt swiftly in a high-paced CAT environment is preferred.

• Experience with Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Symbility, Guidewire, CRM, or dispatching software is preferred.

• Reliable internet connection.
