Civil Litigation Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage high-volume civil litigation cases, overseeing all aspects of the portfolio.

• Prepare petitions, defenses, appeals, pleadings, and initial complaints of varying complexity.

• Attend hearings and deliver oral arguments as needed.

• Develop and execute procedural strategies tailored to the specifics of each case.

• Update case management systems (e.g., LegalBox) and ensure organized information flow.

• Maintain direct communication with clients, participating in meetings, alignments, and presentations of results.

• Help manage the progression of cases, prioritizing tasks based on deadlines and urgency.

• Work collaboratively with the team to enhance internal processes.

• Identify potential risks and recommend actions that bolster the portfolio's performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing high-volume civil litigation.

• Strong understanding of Civil Law, Consumer Law, and Civil Procedure.

• Familiarity with updating or populating case tracking and management systems.

• Proactive attitude, excellent client communication skills, and confidence during meetings.

• Exceptional organizational abilities, a sense of urgency, and aptitude for optimizing time and deliverables.

• Resilience and readiness to tackle challenging situations.

• Postgraduate degree or specialization in Civil Procedure or related fields of Civil Law.

• Advantageous: proficiency in English.
