This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead business development and strategic partnerships for a rapidly expanding medical education company.
• Offer vision, strategic leadership, and tactical guidance to formulate an integrated customer engagement strategy.
• Propel profitable revenue growth and pinpoint strategic growth opportunities.
• Ensure the business is adequately resourced to meet growth and revenue objectives.
• Collaborate with scientific affairs, events management, marketing, legal/compliance, and finance teams.
• Foster a culture of team development, P&L management, growth, and ongoing business development.
• Oversee the structure, vision, and organization necessary to achieve business goals.
• Supervise approximately 3–5 direct reports.
• Create new account strategies and nurture robust customer relationships.
• Meet budgeted revenue and gross margin targets while adhering to policies and expense budgets.
• Travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight trips and some weekends.
• Build relationships, trust, and credibility across business development, strategic partnerships, scientific affairs, marketing, and other departments.
• Gain insights into the market and competitive landscape.
• Recruit as necessary and align the business development and strategic partnerships teams.
• Enhance revenue, acquire new accounts, increase customer count, and boost profitability.
• Over 10 years of proven and progressive experience in Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device sales and marketing.
• Demonstrated success in sales and marketing resulting in revenue, profit, and market share growth.
• Experience leading a U.S. salesforce and/or marketing team.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing effective sales strategies.
• Success in increasing adoption of both new and existing products in competitive and dynamic markets.
• Experience engaging with Key Opinion Leaders and senior customer executives.
• Ability to cultivate synergistic internal and external teams.
• Hands-on management style suited to a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Sales-driven, accountable, and capable of driving aggressive revenue delivery, partnerships, new accounts, and growth communications.
• Strong business acumen and cross-functional operational capability.
• Outstanding leadership, interpersonal, mentoring, and talent-selection abilities.
• Proven record of achieving objectives within set timeframes and budget constraints.
• Expertise in collaborating with senior leaders across operations, finance, sales, marketing, technology, and human resources.
• Effective communication skills for internal and external interactions.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Advanced degrees in science and business are preferred but not mandatory.
• A professional network in oncology and other therapeutic areas or related biotechnology is advantageous.
