📋 Description

• Become a part of the security services team at Sayers Technology Holdings INC as a seasoned Check Point Support Engineer.

• Function autonomously within production environments.

• Demonstrate critical thinking under pressure and trace issues back to their root causes.

• Engage with clients as a Level 3 engineer from the outset.

• Resolve complex challenges while upholding a high standard of client service.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of practical Check Point engineering experience in active, production enterprise settings.

• Possession of Check Point certifications such as CCSA, CCSE, or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in supporting and troubleshooting Check Point firewalls and security platforms.

• Solid understanding of policy management, NAT, VPNs, routing, clustering, logging, and threat prevention.

• Capability to systematically troubleshoot issues and identify root causes.

• Strong grounding in network fundamentals including TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, switching, and DNS.

• Exceptional interpersonal and client-facing communication skills.

• Robust critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to articulate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ownership mindset for managing issues from initial intake to resolution.

• Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing abilities.

• Bonus Skills (Not Required but Beneficial): Experience with Cisco networking or CCNA certification.

• Familiarity with Maestro, VSX, Harmony, Quantum, or CloudGuard.

• Exposure to various firewall and security platforms.

• Public cloud security experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Experience in scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash).

• Background in managed services or consulting.

• Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal best practices.
