This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the client relationship, focusing on realization, utilization, NPS, retention, and growth for a comprehensive portfolio of manufacturing clients.
• Act as the primary strategic advisor and relationship leader for manufacturing business owners and their executive teams.
• Identify and proactively mitigate account risks.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reporting against the budget.
• Create strategic financial plans that align with production capacity and business expansion.
• Lead the analysis of capital investments in equipment, facilities, and technology.
• Construct financial models for product pricing, make-or-buy decisions, and capacity planning.
• Develop long-term cash flow forecasts and working capital strategies.
• Assist with M&A diligence, business valuations, and ownership transition strategies.
• Provide advice on ERP selection, implementation planning, and financial systems strategy.
• Maintain relationships with lenders, private equity partners, CPAs, and industry advisors.
• Identify growth opportunities within the existing client portfolio.
• Lead and manage the delivery team, ensuring accountability for relationships, metrics, quality, timeliness, and EOS commitments.
• Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates for future team positions.
• Foster team member development through feedback, coaching, and growth discussions.
• Oversee team capacity and escalate personnel issues to the Managing Director.
• Provide CFO services to the entire client portfolio and ensure the delivery team receives guidance, context, and support.
• Complete time tracking, capacity planning, quarterly Rocks, and other internal tasks.
• Engage in the Brand Ambassador program.
• Maintain security practices to protect client assets and firm data.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CMA designation preferred.
• Over 12 years of progressive experience in financial leadership.
• Significant experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong preference for experience in a multi-client or Client Accounting Services (CAS) environment.
• Proven success in providing executive-level financial advisory services and managing client relationships.
• Extensive expertise in manufacturing finance, including cost accounting, capital planning, inventory management, and operational strategy.
• Demonstrated history of leading and developing accounting teams through LMA.
• Exceptional executive communication skills with manufacturing owners, operators, and lenders.
• Strong familiarity with the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is preferred.
