This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform post-visit evaluations of completed in-home appointments, ensuring that lab draws, documentation, and all necessary paperwork are completed accurately and punctually.
• Track and monitor lab results and imaging reports using Quest and various clinical applications.
• Identify instances of missing, delayed, or incomplete results.
• Collaborate with laboratories, providers, and internal teams to find missing results, notes, or documentation and address gaps within established SLAs.
• Accurately upload, organize, and manage clinical documents in a timely manner.
• Raise clinical concerns or documentation discrepancies to the relevant clinical or operational teams.
• Assist with outbound patient outreach calls, including delivering results or following up on appointments as business needs dictate.
• Oversee daily workflows to identify gaps or inefficiencies and recommend or support process enhancements.
• Adjust to revised SOPs, tools, and priorities as they arise.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, patient privacy regulations, and standard medical terminology.
• Experience in reviewing or monitoring lab results, clinical documentation, or medical records.
• Proven track record of communicating with doctors’ offices, hospitals, labs, and clinics via phone and email to resolve missing information.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare software.
• Comfortable with Mac OS, Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, and ticketing systems like Zendesk.
• Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail when managing PHI and clinical documentation.
• Strong written communication abilities with a focus on clear and accurate documentation.
• Willingness to make occasional outbound patient calls.
• Capacity to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Self-driven with a strong sense of follow-through, accountability, and ownership.
• Preferred: experience in an EMR environment; familiarity with Elation is a plus.
• Preferred: experience with Zendesk or comparable ticketing systems.
• Preferred: background in lab result tracking or follow-up on medical records.
• Preferred: experience managing outbound patient calls.
• Preferred: experience within a fast-paced startup, on-demand service, or scaling healthcare environment.
