
Cardiopulmonary Sales Specialist – Remodulin, Orenitram

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.
• Serve as the representative for Remodulin, Orenitram, and other relevant United Therapeutics products within the designated territory.
• Engage with targeted physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and specialty pharmacy personnel.
• Provide education to healthcare professionals regarding product details and disease-state information.
• Analyze sales data to formulate and implement territory business strategies.
• Meet or surpass target objectives within key accounts.
• Collaborate with regional and cross-functional colleagues, including RBDs, MDDs, and field-based team members.
• Utilize sales tools, marketing materials, and the sales force automation system.
• Maintain precise records and complete call reporting and expense management.
• Adhere to commercial, regulatory, and administrative guidelines.
• Develop in-depth expertise in PAH, product profiles, and the competitive landscape.
• Attend local, regional, and national PAH meetings and conferences.
• Participate in authorized patient support group meetings.
• Work with marketing and sales teams to create programs that enhance awareness and support for PAH patients.
• Travel approximately 80%, including in-person customer visits, visits to UT offices, and attendance at national events and conferences.
• Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in nursing or life sciences, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 6 years of experience successfully selling pharmaceutical therapies or similar products to specialty physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, or over 6 years of healthcare/nursing experience with advanced lung disease.
• At least 2 years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical/biotech sales.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in selling within institutional or major teaching center environments.
• Valid Driver's License in good standing.
• Proficiency in the cardiovascular and/or pulmonary disease therapeutic area.
• Strong leadership qualities with a proven sales record.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Demonstrated skills in decision-making, planning, and interpersonal relations.
• Capability to acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of United Therapeutics products and services.
• Must be a resident of the Southeast territory: Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, or Mississippi.
• Willingness to travel overnight as required.
