Cardiology Physician, Medical Case Reviewer – Part-Time, Flexible Hours

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform objective medical case evaluations utilizing standardized assessment criteria.

• Assess the timeliness and appropriateness of the care rendered.

• Identify areas for quality improvement.

• Review cases initiated for reasons outside of standardized performance improvement.

• Evaluate medical decision-making processes and adherence to best practices.

• Offer expert medical insights.

• Analyze intricate clinical situations from an impartial, evidence-based standpoint.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted physician license in any U.S. state or territory.

• Hold board certification in a specialty acknowledged by the American Board of Medical Specialties.

• Have a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in your specialty.

• Maintain at least 2 years of recent clinical practice pertinent to case reviews.

• Be actively involved in direct patient care (at least 20 clinical hours per month).

• Have hospital privileges in your specialty.

• Demonstrate fluency in English (strong reading and writing skills are essential).
