This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota, +4 more states.

• Engage in daily spiritual practices.
• Cultivate spiritual relationships and actively participate in a worshiping community.

• Live out a continuous call to ministry service with InterVarsity and its mission.
• Actively participate in the ministry team to articulate spiritual vision and direction, contribute to the achievement of the team’s objectives for spiritual growth and transformation, and provide leadership in designated areas.
• Instruct students in loving, studying, and applying Scripture in their daily lives.
• Gain knowledge and assist in ministry efforts directed towards students and faculty on campus.
• Advocate for and advance the Mission on campus.
• Seek out opportunities to proclaim and exemplify the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
• Learn to guide chapters (or specific segments of a chapter) in developing strategic approaches to witness at the university.
• Model and assist students and faculty in enhancing their love for God’s people across all ethnicities and cultures.
• Aid in the development of student and/or faculty ministry leadership teams by fostering skill development.
• Promote a prayerful lifestyle among students and faculty, particularly focusing on those who have yet to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.
• Engage constructively with the supervision provided by your staff ministry director.
• Offer pastoral care and support to student and/or leadership teams, as well as individual students and faculty.
• Provide training, resources, and opportunities for the spiritual development of students and faculty.
• Complete the necessary administrative tasks required to fulfill the mission of InterVarsity and comply with its policies and procedures.
• Annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Agreement (Doctrinal Basis and Purpose Statement).
• Adhere to InterVarsity’s Code of Conduct.
• Believe and act in alignment with InterVarsity’s Human Sexuality Theological Paper.
• Affirm and act in accordance with InterVarsity’s “Women in Ministry Statement of Affirmation.”
• Explore a calling to InterVarsity and its mission.
• A Bachelor's degree is required for non-enrolled candidates assigned to four-year campuses; an Associate's degree is required for non-enrolled candidates assigned to two-year campuses.
• Preferred prior experience with InterVarsity or other campus ministry (including as a student).
• Willingness to undergo training to become a Campus Staff Minister.
• Ability to foster an open and supportive relationship with ministry team members.
• Previous experience in teaching spiritual and biblical principles, planning ministry programs, and spiritually discipling others.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
