This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Serve as the primary contact point in our call center for registering new patients and guiding existing patients.
• Handle incoming calls from patients needing medical assistance, providing and collecting necessary information.
• Accurately create, update, and access confidential patient data in the EMR system while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
• Streamline the appointment process by collecting essential demographic, referral, and clinical details, ensuring thorough and precise documentation.
• Monitor telephone traffic and provide or request assistance as required.
• Effectively communicate with all departments to reduce wait times while delivering top-notch customer service.
• Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the manager.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional phone demeanor.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented — capable of managing multiple calls and tasks simultaneously.
• A collaborative team member who excels in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in call centers and healthcare services is advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) is preferred.
• A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
