CAD, Mechanical Design Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create original free-response engineering problems based on real-world industry scenarios.

• Develop comprehensive expert-level solutions for each engineering problem.

• Assess problem difficulty by testing against three advanced language models until at least one model fails.

• Contribute to a benchmark of difficult CAD and mechanical design reasoning queries.

• Participate in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

• Collaborate with leading researchers in the field.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Industrial Design.

• Over 5 years of hands-on professional experience in production design roles.

• Proficient in managing designs through GD&T, tolerance stacks, DFM, and drawing release.

• Experience in production design ownership is required; candidates with backgrounds solely in analysis/simulation roles are not eligible.

• CSWP/CSWE certification is advantageous.

• Preference will be given to candidates from reputable or blue-chip companies.

• Must not require H1-B or STEM OPT sponsorship.
