This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise the daily functions of CACFP sites to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Create, implement, and evaluate program policies and procedures.
• Develop and oversee the program budget.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance and offer technical support.
• Prepare and submit timely reports to regulatory bodies.
• Manage the preparation, approval, and submission of claims for reimbursement.
• Provide training and technical guidance to staff and site personnel regarding CACFP regulations and best practices.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace that aligns with NVK’s core values.
• Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in nutrition/food service management.
• 5 years of experience in program management, preferably within nutrition or leading a CACFP program.
• Comprehensive knowledge of CACFP regulations and requirements.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in budget management and financial oversight.
• Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and make decisions based on data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CACFP-related software.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as necessary.
