C# Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Collaborating within an agile team to create, test, and sustain web and desktop business applications utilizing Microsoft technologies.

• Aiding in the gathering and documentation of user requirements, crafting user stories, and providing estimates.

• Compiling reports, manuals, and other documentation regarding the status, functionality, and maintenance of software.

• Designing, developing, and performing unit tests on applications in alignment with established standards.

• Engaging in peer reviews of solution designs and associated code.

• Packaging and supporting the deployment of releases.

• Developing, refining, and optimizing integrations between applications.

• Analyzing and addressing technical and application issues.

• Committing to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and within budget.

• Offering third-level support to business users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum Requirements

• Proficiency in .Net/Entity/React Frameworks.

• Expertise in Microsoft .NET development (.NET 10, specifically) using C#.Net.

• Experience with ASP.Net Core, Web Forms, and MVC.

• Knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL/SQL scripting, and SSIS.

• Familiarity with Azure, specifically Logic Apps/Azure Function Apps/Web Apps.

• Understanding of Web Services/APIs.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Eagerness to learn and grow.

• Core Competency Requirements

• Solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles.

• Familiarity with version control concepts.

• Desirable Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / CRM.

• Background in web development using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript (jQuery, React JS).

• Knowledge of SSAS/SSRS/Power BI.

• Proficiency in Python/Flask/Apache Kafka/Git/GitHub/Postman/Swagger.

• Experience with Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Understanding of client/server application development.

• Knowledge of agile development methodologies.

• Familiarity with unit testing principles.

• Strong understanding of relational database design and querying concepts.

• University degree in Computer Science (2:1) or a related field.

• Experience working within Property Services, Real Estate, or Social Housing sectors, and/or with market-specific applications.
