Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, the SAP development team, data governance, and subject matter experts to gather requirements, design, and implement enhancements within SAP PP.

• Engage with business and product partners on cross-functional initiatives to support supply chain processes while identifying opportunities for increased productivity, efficiency, and growth through technological solutions.

• Responsible for maintaining integrations within the SAP PP module, supporting ecosystems, and managing batch schedules in coordination with 3rd party offshore support teams and/or vendor support teams.

• Document and diagram current systems and business processes, analyzing them for more efficient methodologies.

• Convert functional business requirements into technical specifications while working as part of an agile team.

• Collaborate within an agile environment to conduct cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed enhancements and projects, assisting management in making informed implementation choices.

• Coordinate and execute use case testing, end-user reviews, and provide post-implementation support.

• Deliver orientation and training sessions to end users regarding new capabilities, enhancements, and projects, which includes the creation of documentation.

• Provide production support and investigate application incidents alongside developers, end-users, and the application support team.

• Assist in prioritizing break/fix and enhancement requests with product managers, business leads, and the application support team to ensure timely delivery of prioritized requests.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.

• Technical expertise in SAP PP is essential. Experience with SAP EWM and MES systems is a plus.

• Proficient in business process modeling and documentation tools.

• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Exceptional listening and interpersonal abilities.

• Capacity to convey ideas in both technical and easily understandable language.

• Over 3 years of functional SAP experience in PP, preferably within a CPG/Manufacturing context.

• Basic knowledge of SAP EWM is advantageous.

• Understanding of APIs and other integration methodologies.

• Experience in enhancement and production management.

• Proven ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
