This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Support the designated team with the review and organization of immigration casework
• Maintain close communication with client representatives
• Offer strategic legal guidance
• Assist in managing immigration programs
• Prepare and submit cases for acceptance and approval, including at least H-1B, I-140, I-485, and other relevant NIV/IV categories
• Engage in client management and consultations for potential Small Business clients
• Provide assistance to the Managing Attorney for Enterprise clients and assigned teams
• Collaborate with other attorneys or departments within the firm on various projects
• Help ensure the quality and consistency of casework within the assigned teams
• Assess cases and aid in developing case strategies or solutions to challenges
• Cover for attorneys during vacations and leaves of absence
• Work closely with and mentor paralegals
• Conduct reporting and auditing tasks
• Stay updated on legal and policy changes
• Perform legal research and draft legal memoranda and/or briefs
• Analyze facts, patterns, and intricate legal issues to provide reliable legal advice
• Prepare immigration-related filings for complex case management
• Build rapport and cultivate strong, professional relationships with clients and colleagues in a proactive, considerate, and accountable manner
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
• Admission to the State Bar
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• At least 1 year of experience or proficiency with PERM
• Familiarity with H-1B, L-1, TN, and E visas
• Proven history of consistently meeting Service Level Expectations (SLEs)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; bilingual skills are a plus but not mandatory
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with an emphasis on providing outstanding client service
• Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal English communication, including spelling and grammar
• Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in work
• Strong analytical skills for data and case evaluation
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
• Excellent organizational abilities with the capability to meet tight deadlines
• Tech-savvy with strong computer skills, able to adapt to advanced Envoy Global case processing software
• Contribute positively to team morale, even in a remote work setting
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks and fulfill daily responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
