This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Identify and pursue new accounts, while cross-selling and upselling to existing clients, in addition to servicing and managing accounts/business.
• Act as an additional point of contact for customer sales, addressing daily inquiries and business matters.
• Develop and enhance customer relationships to boost sales in the designated territory.
• Seek out potential clients, visit medical facilities and healthcare professionals, and gather referrals.
• Locate pharmacies and transition their business to Medisca.
• Expand Medisca’s footprint within current accounts.
• Utilize health care compounding prescribers to promote Medisca’s brand.
• Inform healthcare professionals about compounding to increase prescriptions.
• Foster collaboration among physicians, pharmacists, and Medisca.
• Achieve monthly sales goals and oversee profit margins.
• Examine territory trends to identify new opportunities.
• Monitor and enhance pharmacist business performance.
• Communicate with customers regarding sales and product availability through inbound and outbound calls/emails.
• Propose new revenue streams and product ideas.
• Maintain up-to-date and relevant client data and communication in systems.
• Take the initiative to follow up with clients to ensure ongoing support.
• Conduct cold calls to potential customers and assess opportunities.
• Research potential clients and follow up on referrals.
• Open new accounts and assist with the onboarding process.
• Work collaboratively with the Account Executive.
• Strategize with the Account Executive to enhance business within existing accounts.
• Keep the Account Executive informed about planning cycles to optimize synergies and account engagement.
• Provide leads and referrals for client visits.
• Visit customers, participate in tradeshows, and attend training sessions.
• A degree from a college or university.
• Background in sales or science is an advantage.
• Experience in both animal and human compounding.
• Prior experience as a pharmacy technician, with knowledge of compounding or as a representative in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Proven experience in a sales role.
• Demonstrated skills in identifying opportunities, formulating strategies, and closing sales.
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal abilities.
• Memorable, dynamic, and engaging personality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Fluency in English (both written and oral) is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook) is essential.
• Candidate must reside in North Carolina or Kentucky.
• Willingness and capability to visit customers 80% of the time, including travel via flights, hotels, and driving.
