Business Analysis Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Lead and cultivate a team of Business Analysts.

• Develop enterprise standards, templates, tools, and quality benchmarks for business analysis deliverables.

• Align the capacity of Business Analysts with programs and teams according to product and delivery requirements.

• Collaborate with product, technology, and business leaders to define priorities, expectations, and measures of success.

• Integrate Business Analysts within Agile teams to promote standards, practices, and outcomes for the business unit.

• Ensure that deliverables are well-defined, testable, and aligned with business objectives.

• Supervise elicitation, analysis, and documentation efforts across various initiatives.

• Enhance communication among business, PMO, BPM, and delivery teams.

• Facilitate alignment and address escalated conflicts related to priorities, scope, or dependencies.

• Act as an escalation point for complex analytical challenges and opportunities for improvement.

• Monitor team workload and performance while fulfilling people-leader responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of ten years of experience in business analysis or a related field.

• Proven experience in leading or mentoring Business Analysts.

• Familiarity with Agile delivery environments.

• Experience collaborating with business, product, and technology leadership.

• Preferred professional certifications.

• Strong understanding of business analysis practices and methodologies.

• Knowledge of requirements management and user story development.

• Familiarity with software development life cycles.

• Excellent facilitation and communication abilities.

• Capacity to lead teams and develop talent.

• Ability to influence others without direct authority.

• Proficiency in balancing delivery oversight with capability development.
