BPL Appraisal Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and assess appraisal reports to ensure that the appraised value adheres to the appropriate appraisal methodologies.

• Validate that the reconciliation of various appraisal approaches has been conducted accurately.

• Work in conjunction with BPL Appraisal Review team members when additional appraisal insights or evaluations are required.

• Conduct analyses concerning comparable selections and internal valuations.

• Ensure that vendor and appraisal report compliance aligns with Valere’s policies, USPAP standards, relevant laws, and regulations.

• Detect collateral issues and collaborate with leadership to secure revised appraisal reports in a timely manner.

• Update customers and internal partners on file status.

• Deliver professional customer service and maintain clear communication.

• Adjust to evolving information, changing conditions, and unforeseen challenges.

• Uphold appraisal review processes and standard operating procedures.

• Suggest enhancements for operational processes.

• Execute other duties as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience in appraisal review, appraisal processing, and quality control.

• Proven ability to meet deadlines while planning and managing multiple projects concurrently.

• In-depth knowledge of relevant appraisal and industry guidelines.

• Familiarity with appraisal techniques for various property types is preferred (e.g., multi-unit properties).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address issues.

• Effective and respectful communication skills.

• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal capabilities.

• Proficient in computer skills, including Internet usage and Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
