Bookkeeping, Accounting Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Ensure that financial data is both reliable and processed swiftly.

• Guarantee precise coding of financial transactions.

• Conduct monthly account reconciliations and analyze discrepancies.

• Oversee the workflows for accounts payable and receivable.

• Spearhead month-end closing activities and generate summaries.

• Provide timely financial reports and updates on cash flow.

• Keep documentation ready for CPA audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting assistance.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero.

• Experience reconciling 3 or more accounts monthly for over a year.

• Managed a monthly transaction volume exceeding $100k, or handled over 150 transactions each month.

• Closed books by the 10th day or sooner for 6 consecutive months, OR managed over 10 client accounts simultaneously.

• Proficient in written and spoken English at a professional standard.

• Excellent organizational skills with a personal system for tracking deadlines and outstanding items.

• Capability to work independently following a set monthly schedule.

• A professional home office setup and dependable internet connection.

• Submission of an introductory video is mandatory as part of the hiring process.

• Availability from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM in PST, CST, or EST.
