Bodily Injury Adjuster – Moderate/Complex

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations into automobile accidents involving one or more vehicles that lead to property damage and/or bodily injuries with legal representation involved.

• Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages while consistently delivering outstanding customer service throughout the day.

• Participate in negotiation processes to achieve fair and prompt injury settlements with all parties concerned.

• Communicate with customers and attorneys through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and text messages.

• Employ various tools to efficiently complete tasks in a dynamic environment, including estimation tools, job aids, and additional settlement platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in handling third-party casualty claims is necessary.

• Experience with bodily injury claims in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, or Washington DC is preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing moderate to complex bodily injury claims is preferred.

• Prior experience with litigation claims is an advantage.

• Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone, to build rapport and accurately assess claims.

• Capability to work autonomously and remotely while efficiently managing time.

• In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, liability determination, and state regulations.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to effectively evaluate and negotiate injury claims.

• Familiarity with innovative tools and platforms for efficient claims assessment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
