Blockchain Intelligence Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +6 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create innovative collection strategies and investigative techniques to reveal threat actor activities.

• Carry out focused and proactive threat hunting across both on-chain and off-chain data sources.

• Analyze financial networks utilized for sanctions evasion and link them to on-chain activities.

• Monitor, evaluate, and report on threat actors, campaigns, and illicit networks.

• Identify and assess adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), infrastructure, and behaviors.

• Utilize open-source intelligence (OSINT) and other intelligence methods to discover concealed threats.

• Generate high-quality intelligence for law enforcement and governmental partners globally.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including analysts, engineers, and clients.

• Facilitate complex analytical tasks and enhance investigation processes.

• Attend weekly targeting syncs and participate in daily asynchronous standups.

• Record findings in Notion and TRM investigative tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in threat intelligence, cyber intelligence, or blockchain intelligence roles.

• Native-level proficiency in Russian, Chinese, Korean, or Spanish is highly preferred.

• Proven ability to generate original intelligence.

• Background in sanctions enforcement, financial intelligence, or corporate investigations is strongly preferred.

• In-depth knowledge and experience with blockchain and cryptocurrency.

• Capability to analyze corporate ownership structures and cross-border fund flows.

• Experience tracking threat actors, nation-state activities, or sanctioned entities.

• Excellent research and communication skills.

• Comfort in ambiguous and low-signal environments.

• Proficiency with AI and a proven ability to apply AI to workflows, problem-solving, output quality, speed, and efficiency.

• Availability for surge work during time-sensitive disruption periods.

• Primary time zone overlap with US Eastern / Central time.

• Ability to thrive in a high-intensity, high-responsibility environment.
