BIM Specialist – 4D/5D

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Address the most challenging technical issues faced by the team, develop reusable project-level standards, and establish best practices for service delivery;

• Deliver the highest-quality outputs, including digital rehearsals, intricate comparison videos, and 5D dashboards, while maintaining a superior technical standard;

• Conduct QA/QC on deliverables and serve as the technical mentor for the team without holding people-management responsibilities;

• Assist planning engineers, project managers, and field superintendents with 4D/5D services, aiding in plan validation, early identification of sequencing issues, and minimizing execution risks on-site;

• Oversee the 4D Construction Sequencing and Simulation process;

• Define, develop, and enhance BIM/VDC workflows focused on 4D planning and 5D control, creating reusable standards for the company's projects;

• Resolve intricate linking, model subdivision, and construction-sequence coordination challenges, documenting and standardizing the solutions implemented;

• Coordinate complex construction sequences in alignment with break-out schedules, producing detailed digital rehearsals for critical activities such as heavy equipment movements, framing, and cladding/enclosure work;

• Design, develop, and perform QA on 5D dashboards in Power BI, ensuring the accuracy of cost data and financial analyses for the projects you manage;

• Lead the development of technical content for RFIs and presentation slide decks aimed at clients' planning teams;

• Facilitate the technical aspects of meetings with clients and contractors, validating the technical scope, proposed solutions, and the quality of deliverables;

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in construction companies with practical delivery in 4D/5D and a portfolio showcasing simulations and analyses completed;

• Proficient knowledge of at least one major 4D platform (preferably Synchro 4D Pro and Fuzor);

• Advanced skills in Revit;

• Proven capability to design workflows, establish technical standards, and coordinate complex sequences;

• Experience in producing high-fidelity digital rehearsals and Power BI dashboards;

• Demonstrated ability to lead technical reviews and mentor specialists;
