πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Verify Eligibility: Confirm and validate patient insurance eligibility and benefits before scheduled appointments.

β€’ Explain Coverage: Effectively clarify complex insurance terms (deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket maximums) for patients.

β€’ Prior Authorizations: Assess, submit, and verify authorization requirements to mitigate claim denials.

β€’ Specialty Claims: Handle and oversee specialized cases, including Medicare, Workers' Compensation, and No-Fault Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) claims.

β€’ Patient Scheduling: Skillfully manage the clinic calendar, organizing appointments for both new and returning patients.

β€’ EHR Management: Accurately input, update, and maintain patient records and insurance documentation within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

β€’ Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with our clinical team to ensure smooth patient onboarding and precise billing coordination.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ U.S. Healthcare Experience: At least 1–2 years of experience in a U.S. doctor’s office, physical therapy clinic, or chiropractic facility.

β€’ Insurance Expertise: Strong, practical knowledge of U.S. medical insurance terminology, including deductibles, copays, coinsurance, out-of-pocket limits, and prior authorization processes.

β€’ Specialty Case Knowledge: Direct experience in managing Medicare, Workers' Compensation, and No-Fault/MVA cases.

β€’ EHR Familiarity: Experience with EHR/EMR platforms is essential. Familiarity with Comprise Health is preferred, but a strong willingness and ability to learn the system rapidly are required.

β€’ Communication Skills: Outstanding English communication abilities (both written and verbal) with a friendly, professional, and empathetic approach when interacting with patients.

β€’ Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and patient record maintenance to reduce billing and scheduling errors.
