BHI Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Support clinicians in collecting medical information for patients between visits by utilizing various electronic health record systems.

• Provide monthly reports on any medical issues for patients, including falls, medication problems, behavioral issues, and recent hospital stays.

• Perform the completion of Behavioral Health Interventions (BHI) as assigned and as necessary to ensure all interventions are fulfilled each month, averaging about 20 patients per day.

• Directly communicate any issues to the ancillary program manager and/or Chief Informatics/Compliance Officer when appropriate.

• Assist with additional employee training as needed and offer support to new employees who may require extra help through “shadowing.”

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to follow up effectively.

• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare technologies, including but not limited to: Electronic Health Record Systems, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and internet/cloud-based applications.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
