This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Install Boxbar machines and related beverage technology at new customer locations.
• Perform equipment positioning, assembly, connection, setup, and commissioning.
• Collaborate with internal project teams, venue teams, contractors, and technical partners during installations.
• Conduct installation checks to ensure equipment is safe, operational, and ready for customer handover.
• Test the functionality of mechanical, electrical, dispense, and technology systems prior to launch.
• Provide on-site technical support during the launch of new venues.
• Train venue teams and customer representatives on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Monitor equipment performance during launch periods and address technical issues as they arise.
• Execute planned preventative maintenance on installed Boxbar equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, beverage dispense, and operational faults.
• Replace components and carry out approved field repairs.
• Clean, test, calibrate, and service equipment as necessary.
• Respond to customer technical issues and service requests promptly.
• Support remote troubleshooting for issues that can be resolved without an on-site visit.
• Complete accurate documentation for installation, maintenance, and service.
• Build strong relationships with customer technical teams, venue operators, and contractors.
• Represent Boxbar professionally at customer sites and keep customers informed during resolution processes.
• Provide field feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
• Assist in enhancing installation standards, maintenance schedules, troubleshooting guides, and service procedures.
• Previous experience in field service, equipment maintenance, installations, beverage dispense, mechanical/electrical maintenance, or another hands-on technical environment.
• Practical skills in mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Experience with electrical or electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to methodically diagnose technical faults.
• Experience in installing, servicing, or maintaining physical equipment.
• Proficient in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical documentation.
• Strong customer-facing communication abilities.
• Capability to work independently and effectively manage field-based appointments.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to completing work accurately.
• Proficient in completing clear service, installation, and maintenance documentation.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout the US.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer locations.
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, and pull equipment.
• Capable of using hand and power tools where appropriately trained.
• Ability to support installation and maintenance activities.
• Ability to lift and move equipment following safe working guidelines and team-lift processes.
• Experience with beverage dispense, draft systems, beer systems, cellar equipment, or commercial beverage equipment is highly desirable.
• Experience with pumps, valves, pipework, refrigeration, or fluid systems is highly desirable.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with automated equipment, kiosks, vending, robotics, or self-service technology is highly desirable.
• Experience commissioning equipment at new customer locations is highly desirable.
• Experience in executing preventative maintenance programs is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting technically integrated hardware and software equipment is highly desirable.
• OSHA-10, electrical safety, ServSafe Alcohol, TIPS, or other relevant technical/safety qualifications are highly desirable.
• Product-specific training will be provided; prior experience with Boxbar technology is not required.
