Benefits Support Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable resource for beneficiaries as they navigate significant life changes.

• Address inquiries, provide reassurance, and clearly explain available options.

• Handle a steady influx of inbound calls.

• Deliver solutions and relay essential information.

• Utilize multiple systems while interacting with beneficiaries.

• Execute back-office responsibilities including claims processing, paperwork filing, and other administrative tasks.

• Uphold empathy, communication, and professionalism during emotionally charged interactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in customer service and/or call center roles.

• Experience in supporting employee benefits or working in a benefits-focused call center.

• Preferred background in health and welfare benefits or comparable support positions.

• Demonstrated empathy and emotional intelligence when interacting with others.

• Proficient in keyboarding and Microsoft Office applications.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to multitask, stay organized, and resolve issues effectively.

• Professional demeanor and ability to maintain concentration during emotionally charged situations.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

• Verification of education and previous employment may be required.

• Must reside in a state where Conduent’s compensation structure complies with applicable wage laws.

• Not currently hiring in AK, CT, CA, HI, IL, MA, MD, MT, NJ, NY, OR, or WA, or in specified metro areas.
