Benefit Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Convert intricate benefit information into clear and accessible plan language for self-funded plans.

• Evaluate, draft, revise, and examine all legal and regulatory documentation for self-funded plan clients.

• Ensure compliance of the plan and the organization with federal and state regulations.

• Negotiate timelines and drive changes to enhance the quality, availability, and accessibility of information.

• Provide high-quality documentation that meets departmental standards.

• Engage in the implementation of departmental projects as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-2 years of comprehensive experience in plan writing for self-funded or fully insured plans.

• 1-2 years of experience with plan restatement/documentation.

• Strong interpersonal skills encompassing written and verbal communication, critical thinking, persuasion, advising, and counseling.

• Capability to anticipate workload requirements and follow through with minimal supervision.

• Proficient time management, organizational, and prioritization abilities.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, performing at optimal levels in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.

• Preferred: Experience with Salesforce.
