This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assisting clients on their path to achieving optimal health and well-being.
• Collaborating with members to alleviate the effects of social determinants on health and functional status.
• Implementing general problem-solving, assertiveness, and cognitive-behavioral strategies to address behavioral patterns and provide emotional support for personal development.
• Interacting with clients through live video conferencing and text messaging.
• Developing and formulating a care plan that helps clients reach their objectives.
• Building a collaborative relationship with clients, empowering them to manage their psycho-social, physical, and environmental health to enhance and sustain their well-being.
• Fostering cooperative relationships with the client care team.
• Optimizing clients' access to available resources via the digital platform.
• Offering short-term psycho-education to clients to support healthy, lifelong changes.
• MA/MS in Psychology; or BA/BS Degree in Psychology, Community Health, Public Health, Health Promotion, Behavioral Health, Health Education, RN in Psychiatric, or a similar field with related experience.
• Health coaching certification with recognized accreditation (e.g., CHES, ACE, ICF, or similar).
• Master's degree (preferred).
• At least 1-3 years of experience in health coaching.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience addressing behavioral health, medical, and life transition challenges with clients.
• At least 2-3 years of experience coaching adults within a mental health framework.
• Bonus: 1-3 years of experience in public health, community health, behavioral health, health education, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, congestive heart failure, asthma, COPD, weight management, behavioral health) (preferred).
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload in an independent environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (proficient in English).
• A passion for integrating the company voice and brand into health topics.
• Experience with communication using Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
• Ability to stay informed about the latest research in the behavioral field and apply the most effective techniques for each client.
• Capacity to work remotely and utilize technology for consultations.
• Ability to inspire and motivate clients.
• Exceptional clinical judgment.
• Ability to collaborate with professionals across the health spectrum.
• Knowledge of research procedures, methods, techniques, statistical principles, measurement theories, and data collection tools (preferred).
