Behavioral Health Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead or assist in the deployment of Epic Behavioral Health.

• Convert behavioral health clinical workflows into specifications for Epic build.

• Configure system elements including: Behavioral health documentation templates, Intake and assessment workflows, Treatment planning, Safety plans, Group therapy documentation, Behavioral health-specific orders, and flowsheets.

• Engage in integrated design sessions and validate workflows.

• Collaborate with: Psychiatrists, Therapists, Social workers, Behavioral health nursing, Compliance, and legal teams.

• Collect and document clinical and operational requirements.

• Facilitate workflow design meetings and convert decisions into system configurations.

• Develop and implement: Unit testing, Integrated testing, User acceptance testing (UAT).

• Validate workflows such as: Behavioral health assessments, Suicide risk screenings, Intake documentation, Care planning, Medication management.

• Diagnose issues and record defects.

• Assist in the creation of training materials for behavioral health workflows.

• Support super user training and educate end-users.

• Provide on-site support during the go-live phase.

• Help monitor user adoption and workflow challenges after go-live.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in: Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems or a Behavioral Health-related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in supporting an Epic implementation, with a strong emphasis on Behavioral Health and Ambulatory services.

• Must possess Ambulatory Certification.

• In-depth knowledge of behavioral health clinical workflows.

• Experience in gathering and interpreting business requirements.

• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
