Backend Platform Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Take ownership of essential backend systems, libraries, and internal developer tools.

• Maintain code quality and uphold technical standards for the areas of the system that you manage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the industry, research, or at the graduate level.

• Proficient in working with large codebases that involve complex algorithms and data structures.

• Experience programming in Linux/BSD/MacOS environments.

• Proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Django).

• Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL).

• Understanding of Distributed Systems.

• Skills in Profiling & Optimization.

• Desirable skills include: TypeScript/JavaScript (React), Cloud Experience (AWS, GCP, etc.), Observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Datadog, etc.), Infrastructure-As-Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.), Troubleshooting of TCP/DNS/HTTP/SMTP/etc., Database Administration, Maintenance & Scaling, and API Design for Customers.
