Backend Engineer, Go

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Integration of new payment providers: encompassing API documentation analysis, technical design, deployment, and production monitoring.

• Utilizing AI tools (such as Claude and others) to expedite provider documentation analysis and automate the creation of integration boilerplate code.

• Configuration, debugging, incident investigation, and automation of routine processes.

• Contributing to enhancements in product quality, conducting code reviews, grooming the backlog, and facilitating retrospectives.

• Collaborating across teams and providing support to product users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional software development experience, including at least 1.5 years of recent experience using Go as your primary programming language.

• Strong comprehension of Go internals, including data structures, concurrency, memory management, and garbage collection.

• Experience in fintech or other domains with stringent data consistency requirements.

• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including a grasp of transactions and fundamental query optimization.

• Capability to write testable code and ensure logic coverage with unit and functional tests.

• Practical experience with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in English and Russian at a B1+ level.

• Desirable: Experience in integrating multiple similar APIs.

• Familiarity with Kafka or other message brokers.

• Experience with Gonkey or similar frameworks for functional API testing.

• Productive use of AI assistants in development (such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.).
