Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and enhance scalable applications using Spring Boot

• Write clean, modular, and testable code in Java

• Assist in the design and implementation of features utilizing both relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases

• Adopt and adhere to best practices in software architecture, utilizing Layered Architecture, DDD, or Event-Driven design

• Diagnose and enhance backend performance and security

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to refine CI/CD automation and deployment workflows

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Java & Spring Boot (microservices, REST APIs)

• Strong understanding of SQL & NoSQL databases

• Familiarity with software architecture patterns (Layered Architecture, DDD, Event-Driven Design)

• Experience with TDD and testing best practices in Spring Boot (JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers)

• Background in messaging systems (ActiveMQ, Kafka)

• Good command of English, both written and spoken
