Backend Engineer, AI Coding

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Develop and expand backend services and APIs that drive the core product.

• Create systems capable of handling real-time processing and managing high-throughput workloads.

• Enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of the platform.

• Engage in data flows, asynchronous processing, and system integrations.

• Contribute to the infrastructure and deployment processes.

• Utilize AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) to expedite development and iteration.

• Collaborate closely with engineers and founders on architectural and technical decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in backend engineering.

• Extensive background in building and deploying production systems.

• Proficient in backend development with a language-agnostic approach (Node.js, Python, Go, etc.).

• Experience with APIs, distributed systems, and scalable architecture.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar).

• Comfortable working in an AI-assisted coding environment (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, etc.).

• Strong understanding of system design, performance, and reliability.

• Ability to work independently within a small, fast-paced team.
