Azure Security Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Technical reference for Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Alerts

• Design and implement end-to-end monitoring strategies for Azure and hybrid workloads

• Configure metrics, logs, dashboards, and alerts aligned with SRE models and operational excellence

• Assist clients in enhancing availability, performance, and cost management

• Diagnose complex issues through logs, metrics, and distributed telemetry

• Analyze application and platform data to identify the root cause

• Support incident response and post-incident reviews

• Optimize alerting, reduce noise, and improve operational maturity

• Integrate Azure Monitor with Application Insights, VM Insights, Container Insights, and Network Insights

• Provide guidelines on governance, RBAC, data retention, and cost optimization

• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams on visibility and shared telemetry

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics

• Excellent knowledge of Kusto Query Language (KQL)

• Experience with Application Insights and application telemetry

• Strong background in Azure IaaS, PaaS, and networking

• Ability to work in complex enterprise environments

• Experience with SRE, reliability engineering, or operational excellence (preferred)

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container monitoring (preferred)
