Azure Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance Kubernetes clusters for production workloads.

• Set up and manage Nginx for load balancing, reverse proxy, and secure traffic handling.

• Create and sustain CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or comparable tools.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Grafana or the ELK stack.

• Enforce cloud security best practices encompassing IAM, RBAC, network security, and SSL/TLS.

• Diagnose infrastructure and deployment challenges to maintain uptime.

• Enhance cloud resources for optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.

• Develop integration projects leveraging Azure Functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure (including App Services, AKS, Networking, Storage, IAM) and .NET.

• Demonstrated expertise in Kubernetes administration and management.

• Proficient in advanced Nginx configuration and optimization.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Grafana or ELK.

• Proficient scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.

• Understanding of cloud networking, firewalls, RBAC, and SSL/TLS.

• Nice to Have: Certifications in Azure or Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD).

• Experience with Spring Boot / Java (J2EE, JBoss).

• Familiarity with Git repositories, API gateways, or service meshes (such as Istio or Linkerd).

• Knowledge of DevSecOps, cloud cost optimization, and LIMS systems.
