Azure Cloud Architect – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the design, execution, and enhancement of cloud architectures utilizing Microsoft Azure.

• Establish scalable and secure solutions that facilitate the migration of applications to the cloud.

• Guarantee the efficiency, reliability, and performance of cloud services.

• Work in conjunction with technical teams to architect end-to-end solutions, automate infrastructure processes, and advocate for best practices in cloud adoption and governance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in designing and deploying cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure.

• Proficient in core Azure services including compute, networking, storage, and identity management.

• Skilled in creating scalable, highly available, and secure solutions.

• Familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or similar.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and practices for cloud automation.

• Understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks.

• Capability to assist in the migration and modernization of applications to the cloud.

• Proven ability to collaborate with development and operations teams in DevOps settings.

• Competence in defining and documenting architectural solutions and best practices.

• Strong command of English, at a B2-C1 level.
