This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services utilizing AWS.
• Develop and enhance data platform infrastructure, which includes creating data pipelines, data mesh components, and establishing MLOps foundations.
• Create and oversee infrastructure as code employing Terraform.
• Ensure that the platform remains scalable, secure, and reliable across various environments.
• Collaborate closely with the Data Platform Architect and customer Product Owners to advance the platform.
• Support Data Engineers by providing infrastructure and platform capabilities.
• Contribute to and refine Agile user stories alongside the Proxy Product Owner.
• Engage in a diverse range of topics, including DevOps, data engineering infrastructure, and ML infrastructure.
• Offer guidance on software architecture and development best practices to the team and stakeholders.
• Strong practical experience with AWS, covering networking, security, and serverless services (for example, Lambda, Glue).
• Demonstrated experience in building and managing cloud platforms or data-intensive systems.
• Extensive experience using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Proficient programming skills in Python.
• Experience in supporting or working with data platforms (including data pipelines, data mesh, or similar architectures).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and automated deployment processes.
• Ability to function effectively in an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and development principles.
• Willingness and readiness to travel as required by project or client demands is anticipated.
