AWS Cloud Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available architectures on AWS.

• Develop cloud solutions utilizing essential AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, EKS/ECS, CloudFormation/CDK/Terraform).

• Implement AWS best practices and adhere to the Well-Architected Framework.

• Automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, and GitOps methodologies.

• Ensure consistency, traceability, and security across Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments.

• Apply AWS security best practices, including IAM governance, KMS, and networking.

• Manage governance and compliance frameworks across multiple accounts (Organizations, SCPs, Control Tower).

• Supervise cloud migration and operational tasks, ensuring timely execution.

• Evaluate cloud environments and recommend enhancements for cost, performance, and security.

• Collaborate closely with development, operations, security, and architecture teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in designing and implementing cloud architectures on AWS.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification (or equivalent AWS certifications).

• Proven proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools, with a mandatory requirement for Terraform.

• Demonstrated experience with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, EKS/ECS, IAM, and CloudFormation.

• Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration platforms.

• Experience in implementing AWS security best practices, IAM governance, and compliance frameworks.

• Practical experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild.
