AWS Cloud Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary technical authority during client calls, steering technical discussions and proposing solutions.

• Project Delivery: Assist in DevOps, migration, and modernization initiatives by providing exceptional technical results.

• Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to develop comprehensive project backlogs and roadmaps to guarantee successful project completion.

• Technical Escalation: Act as a hands-on escalation point for intricate technical challenges that arise during project execution.

• Mentorship: Support team members in AWS solutions, migration techniques, and best practices, promoting skill enhancement.

• Migration Leadership: Utilize extensive cloud migration expertise to facilitate smooth transitions to AWS from on-premises setups.

• Solution Design: Innovate and implement solutions while remaining actively engaged throughout project lifecycles.

• Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of AWS offerings, DevOps tools, and emerging technologies to foster innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certifications: AWS Professional and specialty certifications are strongly preferred.

• AWS Expertise: Extensive practical experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS, and ECS.

• Proven Success: Demonstrated history of successfully leading AWS migration and modernization projects.

• DevOps Proficiency: Strong background in Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, AWS CodeSuite, CircleCI).

• Infrastructure as Code: Practical experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Framework Knowledge: Understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework and its best practices.

• Problem-Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot and resolve complicated technical issues.

• Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Presentation Skills: Capable of presenting technical solutions and demonstrations to both internal and external stakeholders.
