AVP, Governance and Process Analyst

📋 Description

• The AVP, Office of Agile – Governance and Process Analyst plays a vital role in promoting the adoption, consistency, and advancement of Agile governance and process practices across Synchrony.

• This position necessitates strong collaboration and relationship development with Leadership, the Agile Community of Practice, and essential governance stakeholders.

• The role involves managing Agile process and control governance by aiding in the creation, upkeep, and continuous improvement of policies, standards, procedures, and associated documentation.

• Additionally, the position supports an “audit-ready” state by providing control execution assistance, ensuring evidence preparedness, and facilitating governance reporting.

• This role focuses on enhancing governance and process through automation and AI-driven workflows aimed at minimizing manual effort, boosting consistency, accelerating cycle times, and enhancing monitoring and control effectiveness.

• The Analyst will pinpoint opportunities, outline requirements, and oversee the delivery of comprehensive workflow automation, reporting, and AI-supported insights to scale governance execution and improve outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years in Technology or Process Management experience, OR a High School Diploma/G.E.D. with at least 8 years in the same fields in lieu of a degree.

• Proficient in using Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, ServiceNow, Agentic AI (Rovo), Power Automate, Power Apps, MS Lists management, and SharePoint Development & Administration.

• At least 3 years of experience with Agile methodologies, including one SAFe Certification.

• Proven experience in managing Policies, Standards, and Procedures.

• Demonstrated success in driving improvements within complex organizations and processes at various maturity levels.
