Auto Claims Expert / Claims Advisor, Auto

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and investigate vehicle values utilizing various methods.

• Examine and assess documents from both internal and external sources pertinent to the vehicle evaluation process.

• Adhere to and uphold departmental standards and/or KPIs.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to policyholders while ensuring swift and equitable claim resolutions.

• Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a valid AMF license as a claims expert.

• A minimum of 3 years in auto insurance and/or 2 years of total-loss experience is considered advantageous.

• Familiarity with insurance policy language.

• Proven experience in the insurance field and a strong understanding of the discipline.

• Solid grasp of indemnity conventions and claims settlement principles.

• Outstanding customer service abilities.

• Strong team player with effective negotiation skills and decision-making capabilities.

• Bilingual proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written.

• Competent in MS Office applications.

• Knowledge of automotive terminology, the vehicle market, and auto estimates.

• Exceptional organizational and negotiation skills.

• Experience with total-loss situations.
