This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Conduct investigations to verify the facts surrounding advanced automobile accidents.
• Assess coverage, liability, and damages involved in the claims process.
• Adjust and negotiate claims within established authority limits.
• Provide support for auto claims across the Northeastern region.
• Manage claims from start to finish, including single-file oversight.
• Investigate aspects of coverage, liability, and damages for complex auto claims.
• Review, assess, and negotiate claims related to basic to moderate injuries when applicable.
• Recognize vehicle body parts and assess potential property damage.
• Identify customer needs and deliver suitable customer service.
• Evaluate potential subrogation or fraud issues and determine appropriate response strategies.
• Utilize enhanced experience at the Adjuster II level or transition into specialized roles such as Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, Initial Handler, or Extended Handler.
• Proven experience managing claims from initiation to resolution, including single-file oversight.
• Strong expertise in liability assessment, coverage investigation, and claim evaluation.
• Advanced knowledge of insurance policies, industry standards, and organizational dynamics.
• Capability to independently investigate coverage, liability, and damages with sound judgment.
• Proficient in reviewing, evaluating, and negotiating basic to moderate injury claims when applicable.
• Familiarity with vehicle body parts and potential property damage assessment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to identify subrogation or fraud potential and manage it appropriately.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States.
• Individuals currently holding an active insurance license must cancel all existing appointments before onboarding and may not maintain outside appointments during employment.
• Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when directed by the licensing team.
• Work-from-home setup necessitates a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions.
• Reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is required.
• Incentive pay (such as commission, bonus, etc.) may be applicable for the role.
