Audit Assistant, m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will assist in the auditing of annual and consolidated financial statements in compliance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and, when applicable, IFRS.

• You will analyze financial data, accounts, and supporting documentation while executing audit procedures independently.

• You will prepare audit reports.

• You will assist with special audits, such as those related to incorporation, restructuring, or public funding/grant audits.

• You will participate in inventory counts and verify stock on-site.

• You will support the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns.

• You will maintain close communication with our clients and the audit team.

• You will actively engage in the ongoing enhancement of our audit processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• You hold a degree in economics, business administration, finance, or a related field.

• Ideally, you possess some initial professional experience and have a solid understanding of accounting, financial reporting, and tax law.

• You demonstrate a meticulous and analytical work approach, along with strong numerical and commercial acumen.

• You are known for your independent, solution-oriented work style.

• You have a strong eagerness to learn and are open to occasional travel.

• You are a collaborative team player who communicates openly and with respect.
