This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Develop, update, and present financial plans using planning software.
• Capable of creating and delivering tax, estate, and insurance planning services.
• Recognize advanced planning opportunities and formulate internal best practices.
• Attain a thorough understanding of Focus Partners Wealth’s (FPW) investment philosophy.
• Formulate a comprehensive investment strategy for each client and adjust risk tolerance monitoring as necessary.
• Gain a foundational understanding of trading principles. Collaborate with the Portfolio Management team to authorize and execute portfolios, trade recommendations, tax loss harvesting, etc.
• Provide resources and collaborate with fellow Associate Wealth Advisors (AWAs).
• Achieve mastery of the technology stack available, including CRM systems and custodian websites.
• Capable of independently leading client communications and interactions.
• Diligently document client communications and information within the client relationship management platform.
• Independently engage and communicate with clients via emails, phone calls, and client presentations.
• Act as the primary contact for client needs and work with team members to provide the highest level of client service.
• Conduct client billing reviews and ensure compliance for the advisory team.
• Participate in advisory team business planning initiatives and actively contribute to the firm’s strategic priorities.
• Ability to develop business in a collaborative team setting.
• Oversee a select portfolio of client relationships.
• Lead the formulation of financial planning recommendations for clients.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Series 65 or equivalent certification.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in financial services.
• CFP® or equivalent (ChFC or CPA + PFS) is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, modeling, and strategic planning.
• Strong comprehension of investment strategies, risk management, tax planning, and estate planning.
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the capability to elucidate complex financial concepts to clients.
• Team-oriented mindset.
• Knowledgeable in the financial industry, financial products, and financial planning concepts.
• Proficient in financial software and analytical tools, as well as CRM applications.
