Associate Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Conduct initial evaluations and provide evidence-based therapy to a varied patient demographic.

• Administer and analyze standardized assessment tools (PHQ-9, GAD-7, C-SSRS, among others) during each session and utilize the results to influence treatment strategies.

• Create individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans based on measurable outcomes, adjusting them according to patient progress data.

• Offer telehealth services through an integrated EHR and outcomes platform designed to facilitate real-time clinical decision-making.

• Accurately document sessions in real time, ensuring clinical notes align with treatment plan goals and measurement-based care (MBC) findings.

• Engage in regular supervision sessions where outcome data is integral to the clinical discussion, rather than an afterthought.

• Interact with patients during scheduled hours without on-call responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree in social work or counseling from an accredited institution, or possess an active associate clinical license (e.g., LMFTA, LAC, LMSW, etc.) in New Jersey.

• Training or experience in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, MI, or similar).

• A sincere interest in measurement-informed care, viewing outcome tools as clinical resources rather than administrative challenges.

• Proficient in delivering therapy in virtual environments.

• Comfortable interpreting symptom scores during sessions and engaging in open, collaborative discussions with patients regarding their progress.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport, even with patients who may have reservations about monitoring their symptoms.

• Self-motivated and responsive to the changing needs of patients and the team.
