Associate Staff Engineer, ERP Dynamics Technical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop, tailor, and maintain solutions within Microsoft Dynamics AX (AX 2009/AX 2012) and/or D365 Finance & Operations.

• Engage in every stage of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Execute technical upgrades from AX 2009/AX 2012 to D365 F&O.

• Design and implement integrations utilizing web services, DIXF/DMF, and third-party applications.

• Create and customize SSRS reports.

• Build and support .NET-based client-server applications integrated with AX.

• Configure workflows, batch jobs, and system functionalities.

• Oversee environment setup and release procedures using ALM tools (TFS/Azure DevOps).

• Carry out data migration using DIXF, DMF, and additional tools.

• Manage the installation and configuration of AX components, including security roles and database connectivity.

• Work on both inbound and outbound integrations between AX and non-AX systems (B2B scenarios).

• Conduct performance tuning, code profiling, and code reviews.

• Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and deployment procedures.

• Collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders to deliver solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of overall experience.

• Extensive experience as a Microsoft Dynamics AX Technical Consultant.

• Proficient in AX 2009/AX 2012 (R2/R3) and/or D365 Finance & Operations.

• Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills.

• In-depth knowledge of integration technologies: OData, SOAP, JSON, REST APIs, SSIS, and direct SQL.

• Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server (2012 or later), including T-SQL, stored procedures, views, and functions.

• Practical experience with DIXF, DMF, and data migration tools.

• Familiarity with ALM tools such as TFS and Azure DevOps.

• Understanding of AX architecture, development methodologies, and technology stack.

• Knowledge of .NET, SharePoint Services, and Exchange integration.

• Experience in configuring workflows and batch frameworks.

• Strong skills in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

• Involved in at least 2–3 complete project lifecycle implementations.
