Associate Principal Engineer, ERP Dynamics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead the complete technical design and development process for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) solutions.

• Convert business and functional requirements into scalable and high-quality technical designs.

• Establish, implement, and uphold coding standards, best practices, and development guidelines.

• Engage in hands-on development utilizing X++, extensions, Chain of Command (CoC), and event-driven patterns.

• Design, develop, and manage forms, classes, workflows, and customizations.

• Architect and oversee integrations using OData, REST APIs, and Azure-based services.

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact between business stakeholders and offshore delivery teams.

• Mentor and guide developers to ensure top-quality deliverables and compliance with timelines.

• Manage source control, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps.

• Supervise environment management and deployments through Lifecycle Services (LCS).

• Address production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement necessary fixes.

• Create and maintain technical documentation while ensuring effective knowledge transfer.

⛳️ Requirements

• A total of 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).

• Strong practical expertise in X++ and the D365 extensibility framework.

• Demonstrated experience in solution architecture and system integrations.

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Lifecycle Services (LCS), and PPAC.

• A solid understanding of integrations using OData, REST APIs, and Azure services.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
