This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and nurture relationships with leaders of state agencies, department heads, and procurement officials as a trusted advisor for digital transformation.
• Facilitate interactions with C-level clients and lead consultative strategy sessions.
• Oversee the complete deliverables and outputs of complex deal engagements.
• Improve client satisfaction and secure long-term references within the public sector for Georgia accounts.
• Identify, pursue, and convert business opportunities in the SLED sector that align with state fiscal year budget cycles and funding mechanisms.
• Lead the preparation of responses to RFPs, RFIs, sole-source justifications, and cooperative purchasing contracts.
• Collaborate with solution architects and commercial teams on proposals that meet state security, compliance, and accessibility requirements.
• Design and supervise complex engagements, ensuring technical performance, risk management, and alignment with client missions.
• Provide guidance to state and local government entities on hybrid cloud migrations, AI adoption, enterprise architecture, and infrastructure resilience.
• Cultivate thought leadership, external eminence, and intellectual capital for Kyndryl Consult's public sector brand in the mid-Atlantic region.
• Drive signings, revenue growth, backlog expansion, and engagement margin goals.
• Define project scope, negotiate fees, and manage risks to ensure commercial profitability.
• Monitor individual and team utilization metrics and uphold delivery quality.
• Lead multidisciplinary consulting teams while promoting a strong team culture.
• Mentor and develop consulting talent, fostering a culture of learning, technical certification, and professional development.
• Demonstrated experience in a consultative sales or advisory role, driving IT professional services, cloud migration, and digital transformation for state and local government organizations.
• Proven success in identifying, pursuing, and securing business opportunities within Georgia's state and local government accounts.
• Familiarity with public sector procurement regulations, public contracting laws, RFPs, RFIs, and cooperative purchasing frameworks such as NASPO, OMNIA, or GSA schedules.
• Experience in leading and executing complex projects with multidisciplinary teams spanning IT, finance, legal, and leadership stakeholder groups.
• Practical experience in driving revenue growth, negotiating fee structures, and managing profitability and deal margins.
• Working knowledge of StateRAMP, FedRAMP, CJIS, HIPAA, and FERPA.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in authoring formal government solicitation responses and delivering executive presentations.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Professional experience in a state government agency, municipal department, public school district, or university system in Georgia.
• Experience in leading digital equity initiatives, smart city programs, or public sector modernization efforts through extended sales cycles.
• Established network of executive relationships across Georgia state agencies, local municipalities, or higher education institutions.
• Exposure to platforms such as Microsoft, Google Cloud, AWS, or Salesforce.
• Relevant public cloud certifications or technology consulting credentials.
