This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Conduct research and draft reports on occupational hazard classification for active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).
• Develop and prepare reports on occupational exposure limits (OELs) and acceptable daily exposure (ADE) values for APIs.
• Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field is required; a Master’s or Ph.D. degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 1-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently from a remote location in the Brazilian State of São Paulo.
• Capacity to handle multiple client projects, needs, and inquiries at the same time.
• Proficient in assembling and analyzing complex data sets and presenting summary information in an accessible way for non-scientific audiences.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, including the capability to create intricate tables and graphs.
• Experience with computerized chemical and toxicology databases is essential.
• Competence in utilizing modern online communication and project management tools like Slack and Basecamp.
• Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills.
• Willingness to work outside of standard hours (early mornings/evenings) to support a global team.
